The view from my Queen Room was stunning, overlooking the lake, which made every morning special. The room had a clean and neat vibe and even featured a small seating area. The long covered patio was perfect for enjoying hot tea while soaking in the scenery. Unfortunately, the thin walls meant noise from other guests filtered in at times, which could be distracting. Also, the A/C unit was quite loud, even at a low setting, making it tough for light sleepers like me. Despite being by the highway, I appreciated how quiet it became at night. Overall, a pleasant stay with a couple of minor annoyances.

The owner is amazing! He helped me with a last-minute hotel change. The Queen Room was clean and had a comfy bed. A coffee machine. The air conditioning was great I had a really good stay! 😊

I had a great time at the Barewood Inn! The owner was super helpful and my Queen Room was clean and comfy. The view of the lake from the patio was a nice touch, though the highway noise was a bit much at night.

The poached eggs at the local diner were a revelation! Plus, the management's dedication to service truly shines, as they stepped up to refund me for my unexpected early departure. Oh, and the view of the lake was a sweet cherry on top.

So clean! The Queen Room had air conditioning, coffee machine, flat-screen TV, and a large private bathroom with a shower. Super comfy bed and nice seating area. Loved the terrace outside overlooking the lake. Perfect spot to relax with free toiletries and a hairdryer too. Really enjoyed my time here!
